Colm J. Meaney (born 30 May 1953) is an Irish actor who is widely known for playing Miles O'Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He portrayed a role of the pilot of the ill-fated plane Windsor 114 in Die Hard 2.
Career[]
Meaney had portrayed in films, such as Under Siege, The Last of the Mohicans, Far and Away, Con Air and Law Abiding Citizen. He also had television roles on MacGyver, Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman, Stargate: Atlantis, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Unit.
Meaney currently is the series regular in the show Hell on Wheels.
