Franco Nero (born November 23 1941) is a veteran Italian actor. He portrayed General Ramon Esperanza in Die Hard 2.

CareerEdit

Nero also appeared in 1967 film adaptation of Camelot (as Lancelot) and the 1966 cult speghetti western Django as the title character. He appeared in other films, as The Virgin and the Gypsy, 21 Hours at Munich, Force 10 from Navarone, Enter the Ninja and did voiceover acting in Cars 2. Nero also appeared in the season 13 premiere of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He had recently appeared in Quentin Tarantino's western film Django Unchained (opposite fellow Die Hard series cast member Samuel L. Jackson).
